* 2nd place, Three Peaks Yacht Race, 2007 (Lightning Reflex, skipper: Geoff West. Running partner Richard Ludlow).
* Unguided winter ascent of Mt Cook, New Zealand, 2006 via the Hooker. (With Rohan Kilham)
* The Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon, 2002 & 2006
* Mountain biking Britain’s 220 mile coast to coast, camping rough, 2004.
* Running the 150-mile Marathon des Sables across the Sahara, April 2002.
* Climbing Alpamayo in Peru with my cousins Billy & Dave Bucknall, August 2000.

* Freediving Static Apnea (holding your breath): 4′10
* Winner: mountain biking stage, Drambuie Pursuit, 2006
* First place, Yard of Ale contest, with friends, Lake District.
